In Ice Roads, It is possible to capture hardened frost trolls with lasso.

At the same time, normal frost trolls and wendigos are immune to capture.

I suspect the body size is set incorrectly or something like that.

You should be able to capture all trolls once they've been damaged by fire or acid weapons. Wendigos however have indeed a large creature model and are immune :)

I've received "impossible to capture" on normal troll, near death state, flaming weapon. I always assumed that this means the size category is wrong. I had no problem trying to capture a Hardened Troll next to it.

But it's perfectly acceptable to take my captured shark for a walk through Cordor.
