So, from the old announcement regarding multiple item changes, there was a part where they mentioned that Fine Elven Boots will not be grandfathered thus ending with a new stat of,

Fine Elven Boots --> Slippers of Soft Movement

Ability Bonus: Dexterity +2
Skill Bonus: Hide +3
Skill Bonus: Move Silently +3
ILR 16
Tier 2 Thorass Rune

from the old stats of,


Steps to reproduce
----------------------------
Have an old Elven Boots and get the updated stats.

Expected result
-----------------------
Get the stats from the announcement including the "Tier 2 Thorass Rune"

Actual result
-------------------
The stats are changed as stated by the announcement, but the stated rune is missing.

Misc Notes

I have not tried crafting another new one with the new recipes that needs to craft the first boot then into the new one. So if it might only be the old ones that did not get the proper stats.

Which Server(s)?

The character was logged into Surface when the update was pushed, travelled all servers but UD to see if any changes happened but to no avail.

noticed this as well, no rune when they changed

I read that as it now took a T2 Rune to upgrade but I normally misunderstand so could be very wrong

Yes, in the description I made this clear. Old boots were getting shifted over but they were not given a rune because there are several pairs of 5%'d, runed boots out there and we don't want to accidentally give them another rune. They're not a very expensive item either to make so... I do say I am sorry for the inconvenience but I am sure they can be gathered together pretty easy.

(also you can use their rune and then put a rune on them. No more 5% hell.)

Ah that would make sense, thanks for the clarification though! I just didn't want to use a rune on it until further changes are confirmed or not.
