Lynn's bye-bye

Post by Srnecka »

As those who play in Myon know, Lynneue is saying bye-bye to the isles of Arelith.

I feel fortunate to have played as her, really. I have tried many times to have a long-term character who is a part of a community who not only takes, but gives back the energy and love put into it.
And it's what I found in Myon. The city and people I fell in love with.

I admit I have planned to spend RL year(s) there. But, as it happens in life, things change. I am putting my MMO years behind and will be focusing on what's important. : )

Let me try to say thanks to the people, that is characters and their respective players, who I can think of right now:

Thanks to Karathas,
For playing such a wonderful character. Sober, realistic, with bitter bias. And absolutely reliable, and the best settlement leader I've ever encountered. Thank you for all the praise, support and appreciation both IC and OOC.

Thanks to Lalanna,
For letting Lynn run her first religious events while she was the boss.

Thanks to Wranfir,
For being such a relaxed hubby ingame, not chasing after every skirt for attention and always fun to be hanging out with. 0% drama and 100% wholesomeness. The two really are perfect for each other. Thank you for making the days so much more fun.

Thanks to Maethiel,
For being a gorgeous friend to the aging priestess, so wonderful to spend time with. Nothing quite like gossiping while baking or cooking! Thank you for the help on all of Lynn's events, and for being there to teach her dwarven insults.

Thanks to Vaeryll,
For being an amazing, energic friend the enthusiasm of whom has always been contagious.

Thanks to Andros,
For the best museum tour ever. Myon's "school trip" to the Cordor's Museum has been so much fun, and I've learned a plenty about the lore too!

Thanks to Eli'dyr and Nyriaana,
For not leaving Lynn one-manning the whole community of Myon and for being a part of the active clergy of the Seldarine!

Thanks to Valentino,
Who's been both a great friend and a colleague to the sea elven lady. A partner in crime, fun, and in serious matters as well.

Thanks to Valtarion,
For being so serious, reliable, with a fun side kept hidden like the treasure it is. And for being the best Aegis leader ever, holding regular events to bring Myon to life even more.

Thanks to Velvet, Terie, Hrormir, Xoxvig, Maethion, Dala, Nellas, Lleron, Kallava, Temicti, Gaderel, Aesa, Vigdis, Annwyl, Morwin and many others who Lynn got to meet and connect with on such a positive note!

And to the DM, Development and Admin team who have brought to life many amazing improvements to the game over the course of Lynn's time here.

As Lynn would say;
"I wish you the most beautiful of days, and be well!"

I think there is one thing seriously lacking on Arelith and that is the amount of people willing to do authentic religious events. You always did them well and as a result Lynn allowed for a lot of pivotal character development as a result so thank you.

Lysanthir Ellenocen - Shelved
Gaderel Anjou, certified lawful good - Active
Mal-Karash - ? is he even real ?

I really appreciated your character finding things for my character to do and to worry about. The nickname she gave her continues to stick. The King's Darling will miss Lynneue, but maybe they'll meet again!

The above sentiment is echoed: we'll keep the proverbial light on for you. I hope things go well IRL and thank you for the fun!

Lynn was a great character. I'll miss seeing her around, because she always managed to brighten Vigdis' day.

I hope things go well for you IRL!

Lynn will be missed very much, though Lynn and Terie never found the time to interact untill the end of Lynn her time in Myon. It was a wornderfull experience. Thank you for that. You will be missed but lynn will never be forgotten.

The amount of effort you put into the character, from small interactions to large events, was next level. Lynneue will be missed, but real life takes priority.

Wishing you the best moving forward!
