Summoning streams possible bug?

I'm haveing an issue with the use of streams and summoning on my character, I'm unsure if its a bug however; I recently aquired the yuugoloth stream and used it succesfully, upon trying to change the stream I seem unable to summon anything but yuugs. I'm on a TN character and have tried with Gate and various planar bindings.

Steps to reproduce
Learnt the stream from the yuugoloth book, summoned fine
Changed stream to dragon or elementals still summons yuugoloths

Expected result
Expected to summon red dragon or air elemental

Actual result
Continuedly summoned yuugoloths
