Greensteel without rune.

So, Uh, Can no longer rune greensteel weapons, Wich makes me think:

-Lesser blade runes are trash now.

-No more poormans blade for the non gp grinders.

-Why?

Can we have it back since it wasn't massively over powered and a friend to all who could only dream of masterly damask with a 750k rune on it.

Lesser Blades are extremely useful. IIRC that can be used on +4 loot weapons.

Curious what you would rune a greensteel for. The 1d4 damage?

As mentioned you can rune a +4 weapon, keen it and then add a permanent rune. This is only a tiny bit worse than many special weapons, for a very low price.

Bastard sword was a no, tried the rune for lolz on a cavelier sword and that worked.

Ok, I’ve used lesser runes on various Greensteel weapons over the years and it’s always worked. But I don’t recall trying it specifically on a bastard sword.

Maybe it’s some issue related to that weapon type in particular.
