While I'm sure kobolds are quite happy to have their own unique gnome killing mattocks, I'm wondering if prehaps they are a bit overpriced in the resources necessary to craft them? Specifically the large variation of the Kurtulmattok.
The Large Kurtulmattok, costs 4 bars of adamantine to craft, it's still a one handed medium weapon, that has a base damage of 1d8. This cost is rather prohibitive for a not really significantly strong weapon (At least from what I understand, I could be wrong or missing something) and it really never gets crafted due to this cost, and is not really requested much at all.
Compared to even the new colossal weapons, the large Kurtulmattok simply costs a significant more amount of adamantine to craft than any weapon I can find on the Wikipedia, the close seconds being a heavy flail, the Yeenoghu's Hunger (But at least that's a large heavy flail) and the seige breakers sledge (A large 2h Warhammer). Both of those are large classified weapons, that cost 3 Ingots of Adamantine.
While I do know that many of the weapons on the list require other variations of metals, like green steel and mithril, those materials are also quite a bit easier to get ahold of than adamantine.
The 1d6 bonus to gnomes is nice flavor, and it's runic and keen already, but alot of weapons have runic and keen attributes, but not the high Adamantine Ingot cost. These are also the exact same attributes the small version has, it just does 1d8 instead of 1d6 and can be one-handed by small races (Kobolds) instead of being forced to 2h it.
The small variation of this weapon requires two ingots, which is in line with some of the other powerful tiny weapons (Such as the Final Blow or the Deadmans cross)
I'm just not quite sure why this relatively small weapon requires more adamantine to craft than larger weapons. If there's something I'm missing, I'd be happy to be informed.
