Description of Bug Experienced:
Loremaster CL not working when it's the same wand type.
Steps to reproduce the Bug:
Create a wand as a loremaster/caster
Expected Result:
Get the same CL as when you cast a spell, or get the wand boosts. For example, if you're 25 bard/5 loremaster I'd expect 28CL from +3 CL from Loremaster OR +3 from wand mastery.
Actual Result:
Get a CL that is your loremaster-less CL, in above case only 25CL.
------------------------
Description of Bug Experienced:
Some offensive spells aren't available when they should be.
Steps to reproduce the Bug:
Try to imbue prayer or dispel magic into a wand.
Expected Result:
Prayer debuffs enemies and dispel magic is mostly used offensively, so should be imbued.
Actual Result:
Neither function in the wand, producing errors.
-------------------------
Description of Bug Experienced:
Spellslot level not respected for recharging wand, uses innate level.
Steps to reproduce the Bug:
Attempt to recharge with a metamagick'd spell or a spell that is a higher level in a different spellbook.
Expected Result:
The replenished charges equal the spell's level in the class spellbook used to recharge the wand
- i.e. a Spellsword's Time Stop, which is a level 8 spell for the class, would restore 8 charges
Actual Result:
Casting a spell uses the spellslot level, not the innate level, in the above example for timestope still only gives 8 charges
---------------------------
Description of Bug Experienced:
Unable to recharge with other spellbooks or recharge domain spells.
Steps to reproduce the Bug:
Get a wand for a different class, or a domain spell, attempt to recharge it.
Expected Result:
I expect to be able to charge it with any known spell, not just of that particular class.
Actual Result:
Get an error that you do not know the spell well enough to recharge it. This includes cleric domains.

Re: Spellbound Wands - A few bugs
Thanks for the bug reports! :)
- The imbued spell belongs to one of the character's class spell lists, and they have access to a spell level that's at least half, rounded up, of the spell level at which the spell on the wand appears in their spell list, and the relevant primary casting ability modifier for that class matches or exceeds that spell level.
- Have enough levels in a caster class that can learn the spell to theoretically be able to cast it. No casting ability requirements.
- The character is a cleric with a domain the spell belongs to.
The domain part isn't currently working, but a fix is in the pipeline.

This is partially intended. In order to recharge a wand, your character must meet one of the following criteria:Stop. Ninja Time wrote: Tue Nov 08, 2022 6:17 am Description of Bug Experienced:

Oh I see in Arcane Flux it specifically blocks dispel magic specifically.Kalopsia wrote: Tue Nov 08, 2022 9:00 pm Spellbound Wands only accept harmful spells like the ones that work with Arcane Flux, so this is intended.
The main reason I noted prayer is: prayer also provides a debuff to enemies, like Crushing Despair:

Component(s): Verbal
Range: Medium (20 meters)
Area of Effect / Target: 11m cone
Duration: 1 round / level
Additional Counter Spells: Good Hope
Save(s): Will negates
Spell Resistance: Yes
Description: An invisible cone of despair causes great sadness in the subjects. Each affected creature takes a -2 penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and weapon damage rolls.
It's like half the effect of cone of despair and half the effect of good hope in a circle. It is /also/ beneficial, but then so is Vampiric Touch. So it seems strange that a spell that is also a debuff is blocked.Arelith Wiki wrote: Spell Level(s): Cleric 3, Favored Soul 3

Area of Effect / Target: Colossal (10 meter radius), Caster
Duration: 1 round / level

Description: All allies within the area of effect gain +1 to attack and damage rolls, skill checks, and saving throws. Enemies receive -1 penalties to the same.

Thank you for this really cool item, and for fixing these little issues!

Re: Spellbound Wands - A few bugs
If Prayer was enabled, people would almost permanently walk around with it, which is more problematic than a few temp HP since it pushes AB numbers across the board even higher than they already are :)Stop. Re: Spellbound Wands - A few bugs
Ah of course, I was thinking more from a PVE perspective of being able to cast it each fight to debuff enemies and buff summons; but nothing would stop it from inflating AB for PVP even higher! Good point!
