Bumping this, the vfx hasn't been restored yet.
I'm voting for the new VFX because it's what you all deserve.

Generally this. For pretty much any weapon.
Let's have all VFX enabled on all weapons with rare/special exceptions, and let's not forget about those special cases like picks and whips where VFX are disabled or poorly rendered.
Red Lightning could be cool though, for Necronic/Negative Damage though! >:D
We'll revert the VFX to the prior version in an upcoming update. The change won't be retroactive, so keep that in mind if you're currently crafting one.
