Poison change
Hello, quick question and some feedback.
How does assassin +DC to poison work with the +DC to level?
And for feedback 15 minutes is no where near enough time. I often spend an hour stalking someone on my assassin before they meander off. Would it be possible to have assassin levels increase the time?

Re: Poison change
Unrelated to Assassins, but since it is a poison thread, what do people think of using poisons in PvE? I am currently playing a ranger and it sounds appealing thematically, but I am unsure whether I can make it work (PvE poison use specifically). Anyone else has experience in that department?
Re: Poison change
Gues it depends on how hard you want to farm mats
Re: Poison change
I also like using poison in PvE for thematic reasons.
At lower levels poison was wonderful. Especially Cave Terror as the ingredients are few and easy to come by.
At level 30 weapon poisons aren't very useful in PvE. I think the dcs are somewhere in the twenties if you're not an assassin and most creatures have quite high fortitude.
Still, cave terror is easy to make if you have extra cp. So why not coat that arrow with it.

Re: Poison change
The DC bonuses will stack :)
It's certainly worth a thought, though I don't think we'd increase the duration to anything close to an hour.Ceyella wrote: Wed Jan 04, 2023 9:39 pm And for feedback 15 minutes is no where near enough time. Re: Poison change
Could add a feat to increase duration, so it at least requires some investment.

Re: Poison change
Hi, for PvE the Sassone Leaf Residue is not too bad, they have to roll a 1 but still 1/20 chance for on average 28 damage isn't too bad. It only seems to activate once a round or something though. The most unsatisfying thing about it is, you can't tell how much damage it did, it shows the failure and the poison visual. And I know I used the Sassone Leaf Residue so I just kind of trust it hurt them. But my combat log doesn't show the damage.Skarain wrote: Thu Jan 05, 2023 9:20 am Unrelated to Assassins, but since it is a poison thread, what do people think of using poisons in PvE? Re: Poison change
Even as an assassin I don’t use any posion unless the innate DC is [High] Because the medium/low ones are literally 1/20 odds straight up, but also can be quite costly.
