transmutation in crafting

I with there were a way to transmute metals from lesser or greater metals in regards to specifically
gold and silver.

Possibly use Lesser Catalysts along with other metals and items to create metals. Crucibles of Transmutation. Maybe even combine multiple skills, sacrificing gems and or dust or herbs to draw out sediments.
