Suggestions that are already completed or have solutions.

Post by Party in the forest at midnight »

I'm seeing people suggest things that already exist in-game. I'm gonna post them here.

Suggestion: Non-damaging weapons.
This already exists! You can buy them in Cordor from Instructor Judorski next to the Cordor Arena, or in Sibayad's arena.

Suggestion: Cancel property bids on winning a bid

It already works this way!
I can say that it does work, I've had it happen to me. A friend encountered the mechanic working a few days ago, they could tell they won a property because all bids they put on other properties were removed when they went to check on time left.

Suggestion: Magic trash can for evil objects.

While not to your suggestion, a book exists in the game world describing how to make one of these and how to use it. I think it could be a great RP opportunity where you could make a device and RP dismantling things. The book is Dweomer Dispersal of Dangerous Objects, there's a copy in the Bendir library.

Suggestion: Automatically deleting fishing stuff?

You might have noticed a lot of fishing spots have barrels next to them. You can find a carpenter to make you a barrel and put them next to your favourite fishing places to accomplish this! While not every fishing ingredient is useful, many of them have recipes and people might not automatically want their bones deleted if they're making a lot of soup. Rather than making a complex system to enable auto-deletion, you could get a barrel and dump things in it.

My bids are not canceled when I win a bid and I'm 100% sure about that, because it's happened to me more than 3 times so far on my newest character.

Given, those bids were across different servers, and I assume that is why it wasn't working.

I can show you five major fish spots that you have to travel from to get rid of your bones and such. And they are in two major settlements within one transition away.

The system exists from the ship script, just have to add trash your bones etc.

Sounds like a bug report then. I've had it work cross-server when I was bidding on properties on Guldorand and Surface.

Also has happened to me, when I was bidding in Guldorand. I won 2 houses at the same time, and still had a bid on a third. Hence the suggestion! But fair point about it being a bug report. I didn't realize it was /supposed/ to do this, given it doesn't (reliably apparently).
