Make Mail of the Holy Knight into Plate of the Holy Knight

As it stands the Mail of the Holy Knight is a very cool set of armor in that you get:

Armor Bonus: +4 (AC Armor Modifier)
Armor Bonus vs.: Evil +5 (AC Armor Modifier)
Damage Immunity: Bludgeoning 5% Immunity Bonus
Damage Immunity: Piercing 5% Immunity Bonus
Damage Immunity: Slashing 10% Immunity Bonus
Enhancement Bonus: Dexterity +2
Skill Bonus: Intimidate +3
Skill Bonus: Leadership +3
Skill Bonus: Ride +5
Skill Bonus: Taunt +3
Improved Saving Throws: Fear +3
Use: Remove Fear (2) 2 Use/Day
Use: Word of Faith (13) 1 Use/Day
Tier 3 Rune (Celestial)

It even requires a Paladin smith. However, it is not a "paladin cookie" as it can be used by almost anyone:

I had previously suggested that Sanctified Plate get Paladins added to the allowed list, and was Rejected because "Paladins already get their own cookies". This did not explain in any way what these were, so I assume it was meant that they are allowed to wear this chain mail.

The issue is that there is absolutely no build for Paladin where you will be wearing chain mail, unless it's a build that just dips 3 paladin for the charisma to saves or something. Any deep paladin build is almost invariably 27 paladin and 3 bard purely to get Use Magic Device so that the paladin can wear Jousting Plate. Since the "Paladin Cookie" seems to be an armor that isn't actually useful for paladins, I figure that it could just be turned into plate mail, which is actually useful for paladins.
