When using the new abilities against a target with DR, they are not able to pierce the DR. Arcane Archers are gaining Enchant Arrow 1-10 (10 being the highest available on Arelith) as they level up and pierce the DR on normal shots.
e.g.
Seeking Arrow (from level 20 AA) fired at something with DR 10/+2 and 10 damage will be reduced.
Shooting a blank arrow would otherwise be bypassing that DR.
edit: also charges of various abilities are not showing up in cooldown feedback when typing -cd
