Sorcerer Blood Point Resources

So I had an idea for Sorcerer to change how its resources work.

The spell list/choices would remain the same on level up.

Right now, they use spell slots per level. My thinking was as the class levels up, they get a pool of points to spend on spell casts. So Level 1 spells would cost 1 Bloodline point, Level 2, 2 points per cast etc. This would continue up to level 9 spells. The pool of points is where it differs from spell slots.

Level 1 slot = 1 point
Level 2 slot = 2 points
Level 3 slot = 3 points
Level 4 slot = 4 points
Level 5 slot = 5 points
Level 6 slot = 6 points
Level 7 slot = 7 points
Level 8 slot = 8 points
Level 9 slot = 9 points

So if a level 5 Sorcerer had (now) 7 level 1 slots, 5 level 2 and 3 level 3, this would equal 7+10+9=16 points total, which they can spend on spells of any level.

The advantage of this, is their spells work similar to Invoker, but at the same time it is its own system which opens the class up to be more flexible. You can even allow for these points to refresh a little bit on tics.
