Learning of Infi-cast Spells

The wizard is capable of learning infi-cast spells through both the greater spell focus feats and specialization in a school of magic. It seems strange to me that these aren't also immediately added to the list of learned spells. How is a wizard casting those spells if they aren't recorded in his spellbook?
