Change the school for Dirge

We will file suggestions here that did not make the cut. Don't expect detailed responses, but the most common reasons are:

  • implementing the suggestion is impractical, or too much work for the gain
  • the suggestion is thematically against our design philosophy
  • the suggestion is too detailed/low-level
    Keep your suggestions broad and focused on RP benefits, please, not detailed suggestions of how to fix everything.

Change the school for Dirge

If it would be possible, I would like to recommend that the spell Dirge http://nwn.wikia.com/wiki/Dirge would be changed to the school of Necromancy rather than evocation, if its possible.

There are loads of spells that are logically in the wrong school.

I've made the decision not to change this, because I can't update all the spell descriptions without hak/tlk overrides, and because the gain from having a more appropriate spell school assignment is outweighed by the cost of everything being less intuitive to players.
