Description of Bug Experienced:
While having boarders on deck, dock at a location.
Boarders magically disappear.
Steps to reproduce the Bug:
Be boarded by NPCs.
Find a place to anchor a ship.
Anchor.
Magico-presto, enemies vanish!
Expected Result:
Enemies continue to persist and drop loot.
Actual Result:
Dragon turtles disapperate and don't give me any of their blood or skins.

Docked at Whaler's Home. (6, 20)
Probably an intended safeguard, in case mobs decide to spawn out of the boat and lock you in combat mode out of reach.
Either that or those turtles know too much.

I thought this was because of rentals - so that you don't recall a ship just to find 30 Githyanki waiting for you on board
If it's a safeguard for rentals, fair play.
However, in my case, I wanted those hides and bloods of those terrible dragon turtles. They are my favourite boarders, actually! I did not expect them to despawn simply because I found a place I could safely go afk at for a while. I can see a way to abuse this mechanic - oh, I have gith on board? Well, no problem, because I can just dock at this great tree/trade ship/sandbank/somethingelse right here ... and thought I'd report it.
Might be worth looking at a little more - maybe the short term rentals have this feature and others don't? I don't know! I've done what I need to do, over to smarter people!

Very good point, thanks for the heads up! This said... that doesn't help against enemy player ships, just makes it easier to grapple us, so usually when I afk I want to park somewhere I know I'm not going to return to a bad situation.
