A makesafe used there ended up sending the player all the way to the other side of dungeon, behind a barrier that requires explosive power. If they didn't have the rest of party or portal lens, they would have been fully stuck as due to new map system, skiffs at other spots than where originally landed no longer work (tested at Cove and confirmed by ActionReplay).
