When a creature that normally isn't immune to a power/spell/ability is immune to that power/spell/ability add something to reflect why this is happening within the creatures description/lore of the creature.
Example Jaguar within the jungles are immune to mind spells, as such they are immune to animal empathy.
Something like, The eyes of the Jaguar reflect a strong mental influence taking over the creature's normal habits.
This tells the player that something is going on with the jaguars and its not a bug but part of a larger design decision (which could be it having immunities for mechanical reasons/limitations), and provides the player with a potential hook to wrap into an Rp plot.. who, what, how, and why are the Jaguars being controlled.
Though personally I'd love to see things that are made immune swapped to the abberation race. I'd still add an additional description as to this change for the players that pay attention to such things.

Re: Creature descriptions and immunities
I like this suggestion, but personally, I'm not a massive fan of random immunities on things.
Can someone put together a list of stuff that counts as... well, dumb? I'll then review it and either add descriptions or make them not dumb.
