Basically,
The Black Blade of Disaster that Harbinger's Dark Seraph can summon at level 21 will not give you credit (i.e XP) for anything it kills. I'm not sure if this will effect writ progress as I haven't tried, but there might be a possibility.

This may be a consequence of the Vorpal effect, that is somehow overriding the normal death scripts.
Could I conscript you or somebody to check if the same happens with a normal caster - or even the scroll version of the blade will do.
