Sharing Spells?

We will file suggestions here that did not make the cut. Don't expect detailed responses, but the most common reasons are:

  • implementing the suggestion is impractical, or too much work for the gain
  • the suggestion is thematically against our design philosophy
  • the suggestion is too detailed/low-level
Keep your suggestions broad and focused on RP benefits, please, not detailed suggestions of how to fix everything.

Sharing Spells?

Post by The Kriv »

...with familiars/Animal Companions.

Like in regualar D&D, you buff yourself, your companion/Familiar also gets the buff.

-this is of course self-buffing and I do not believe encompasses ingested potions or smacks from wands...

could be a good time for this, so near to the release of the Companion/Familiar overhaul... we are seeing a lot more folk travel with their companions...

I know in my own experience with Druids in home-games, I always see my druid party-mate with his animal companion (Usuall a dog with an upsurd name, like "Fluffy") who benefits from the shared spells.

I have seen this elsewhere, and believe it is script-able...
