Boat Security Changes

I'm not sure if this is the right spot, but seemed area related so here goes!

Boats are currently used to hide characters and objects of importance, as they are widely known to be mechanically unbreachable. This is not healthy for creating engagement and RP, nor does it make sense by any in character logic.

Why should it be impossible to break into a boat sitting at dock? One can attempt to board them as a hostile action at sea, which is much more challenging and dangerous to attempt. Furthermore, why are all personal quarters on the module, by design, not safe spaces, but boats are? Why should the owner of a boat have the special and unique privilege of perfectly secure storage, meeting spot, and hideout?

My suggestion is to make boats accessible/vulnerable to infiltration when docked similar to player quarters. Perhaps there's a unique or "better" way than using locks and traps (say climb), but I think going with locks and traps would also be just fine and be on parity with player quarters. Thanks!
