Extrusion seems to do wrong damage

Post by Cagus »

Hi,
I was testing Extrusion, and it seems that the damage is off.
I got 27 CL, which means 27d8 damage (description in game and on wiki), which nets on 121.5 average damage.
As for extremes: 10% chance on having more than 136 damage and 10% chance on less than 107 on the other side.

I tried to cast it on the test (PGCC) bear 20 times and average I got 110.5.
Also I got 7 times less than 170 and not a single one was more than 136 (top roll was 135).

I tried this once more on player character, which I was sure had no bludge imm. and the average was 108.

From long time observation and finally from these data I conclude, that the formula is off.
Please, can you check if the calculation of this spell works correctly?

Not a bug.
Extrusion caps at CL 25.
Please notify the wiki guys.
