Invisibility vs Animal Empathy

Post by Morto »

Currently if Invisible and attempting to use Animal Empathy on a creature, the attempt fails and a console messages states: "The creature must be aware of you to use that ability"

This is fitting and thematic. However the same above interaction occured even if the animal is actively attacking the player attempting to use Animal empathy.

I may expect the message to say something different, or the animal empathy attempt to execute the roll because the attacking animal is infact aware of the invisible player.

This is perhaps too pedantic, and that's me saying it.
Just having a different text string if the PC is under invisibility or somehow stealthing would add needless complexity to the code.
Just pretend it says something like "you cannot attempt to dominate a creature while your figure is mired in darkness", or whatever suits your fancy.

Don't click weird links, kiddos.
