Bards - Selfish Solo and grouping with another Bard

So my bard sang a Selfish solo, because I was in a group with another bard who seemed to be more in charge.

At one point however, I felt the group need a haste boost and sang the Traveling Tune. The tune only affected my bard. I was farily certain the Selfish Solo had worn off by then and so did it again many minutes later. Same Result

Can anyone give pointers for when there are two bards in a group?

And does the Selfish Solo wear off at some point?

If i am not wrong because i've once had a bard before.
The bard song calculates the higher level bard song to be used.

if both bards are of the same tier then, the earlier one who sang, stays.

So if your bard is of the same tier as the other bard present, your song will only affect yourself regardless.
And if your bard is of a higher tier, the moment when you sing, it simply affect everyone.
