This is nowhere near the end of Alyrae's story, but I figured I'd take the opportunity to drop a little kudos to those who've made RPing that character enjoyable so far.
Alyrae means a little bit more to me than my other characters because she's the first I've made following a double diagnosis of FMF (hereditary chronic inflammatory disease) and gallbladder failure, and about eight months of extreme pain and back-and-forths between hospitals and doctors' offices that eventually culminated in a major surgery. In a way, Alyrae's storyline - to those who know - allowed me to express the frustrations I had OOC due to my illnesses and her recovery pretty much came in synch with mine. To say that the RP event that triggered this kudos was cathartic to me would be a great understatement.
That said, I'd like to thank, first and foremost, the many players that comprise House Auvryndar - be it the first or second generation - that have made this experience all the more special to me. You all know who you are, and I love you all for the faith and work you've done in the name of the faction. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for tagging along the wild ride.
Second, I'd like to thank houses Xun'viir, Briz'zek and Khal'Belaern for putting up with Alyrae's antics, welcoming her chaos and being inclusive to House Auvryndar. A special kudos to matrons Faeris, Talyrrae, Belarryne and Kiaberra for being very good at what they do, and being superb players to RP with.
Third, a special kudos to house Baenthra, and Belaya in particular, for being a good sport and a great rival. I was sad to see you guys go, and I hope you're having fun with your new project!
Fourth, a huge kudos to the Arcanum for playing an essential, key role within Alyrae's plotline and propelling the RP to the next level. You're all a boon to Andunor that I hope only thrives and prospers.
Finally, a big kudos to DM Honey for helping me out with my events and propelling my concepts and ideas to the next level. You're amazing at what you do; keep up the good work!
