I have been trying to figure out how to take Weapon of Choice: Hookhammer as a gnome taking their first level in Weapon Master. The wiki states that Hookhammers are a Polearm, while an update from Kroatius earlier this year suggests they are Concussive weapons. Neither qualifies you for Weapon of Choice.
Strangely enough, after some repeated testing on the PGCC, it appears that you require both Weapon Focus: Polearm and Weapon Focus: Concussion, at the same time, to qualify for Weapon of Choice: Hookhammer.
One can readily replicate this on the PGCC, here are screenshots for brevity.
