The Tower has a shared storage chest in the Warden's Hall of the Arcane Tower, area resref wizguild_wardens. I think that this storage chest would see more use if it was locked to the people who live and play here.
Is there any way to make it so that the "locked" gate-door to the storage room is only openable by those who own a quarter in the Tower/the cottages outside, or have a key to one of those quarters (for the sake of making sure it isn't impenetrable and can also be accessed by non-arcane members of the Tower)?
edit: another option would be to have a sign-up with Westin for "Tower access" (checked against the arcane classes allowed to own in the Tower) that lets you open the locked door, so that Tower members who live in the settlements (ex. a quarter in Cordor) don't need to ask for key access to someone's Tower broom closet. This would be more similar to the Arcanum, which has a locked door accessible with wardstones handed down by the person in charge. Actually, why isn't the Tower modeled more like the Arcanum mechanically?
