I think it would be neat if players could have the ability to reward other players AP. This is an expansion on the fact that currently, a player with sufficient RPR can raise a new player from 10 to 20. I could have these numbers wrong but the system exists.
So with that said, Arelith has always had the kudos forum. RP in general is about collaboration. With those two things in mind, I believe giving players the ability to reward AP could be like an in-game version of kudos.
Would there be people that only reward their friends? Absolutely. But also is that so bad? They are also putting in the work to make the world and game enjoyable to each other. And I think there would be just as many people who would reward others for effort put into random RP. All of it helps the world grow, and honestly it would just feel nice without being immersion breaking.
