Always liked using one-handed weapons, but i don't like feeling compelled mechanically to carry a shield or try to dual wield (i don't do either, but i still feel it).
Is it possible to add a small AB or damage bonus to using a one-handed weapon with an empty left-hand slot? Thinking something along the lines of the optional damage that bastard swords had in the good ol' days IF you felt like useing it two-handed...
...maybe just the strength bonus that two handed weapon users get?
