I to give my highest regards to Mithreas (and of course the rest of the Arelith team). After reading his statement, I am relieved to see that his departure was not just because of the negative posts about merging Fl with Regulith. He deserves this break big time.

I might not like all the updates or features he has added over the time I have been here, but I definitely appreciate the hard work and effort he has put into Arelith. Hope you'll be alright, without you none of this would have existed for as long as it has.

As someone who's been playing on this server off and on for roughly 8 years, i'm super impressed with the depth and fun to be had round here...i think most of the forum that tends to bitch and moan forget how rare that is with the other servers left. Don't get me wrong, i regularly try out other nwn servers when i feel frustrated with the xp pace and such, but i come back for the awesome immersion that i feel is only available here. I'm grateful that the team has put this much work into the server, which is why i'm always mystified at the vast amount of complaining i read on these forums.

Having said that, the second amia can compete with a fraction of this servers intrigue and versitility, i'm gone. That's a super big long shot, but we just got a touch closer.

Mith, I have really enjoyed every update you've made and all the effort you invested in making the server somewhere one is compelled to return to (I lose count how many years I've been coming back, probably a decade by now). Kudos to you sir, may your respite be refreshing and your return certain.

I wish you all best for your life and enjoy the brake. I always wondered how you managed to do all this and care so much for Arelith while working, traveling, and moving.

In your years as the head of the “Benevolent Triumvirate” I experienced you as a clever person, who made wise decisions. Well-meant suggestions that looked convincing where crushed by long-sighted and comprehensible arguments. You always had an open ear for the playerbase and gained much respect and positive authority.

Best wishes and in great hope that we will see you again this year!

You have survived more then most would ever request. I am sorry you have such a hard reaction to the player bases feelings. Although I sympathize and pray you find the motivation to at least enjoy what you have created so far while you take your break or leave. There is a huge player base that is thankful for what you have done. Even if they do not concur with your ever desire and they should be obliged you so much as lingered so long under the strain of cruel reality, which is people expressing themselves.
