DM Symphony on the FL server

Post by Frankly »

So, I logged onto the Fixed Level server thinking it looked like a neat idea, and I ended up making a Gladiator for fun to see what it was like. I fought some stuff in the arena, got myself a sponsor in a PC that was logging on and then Symphony happened to log on.

From there we must have done the next four hours of time playing around in the arena, fighting exotic monsters and getting rewards from the crowd. There was a lot of fun role play between fights between the PCs in the audience the fights escalated further and further, it was pretty great. I had a ton of fun there, in the arena and I think there's a lot of benefit to the Fixed Level server for that sort of thing.

I didn't have to spend four months leveling my character to do something cool, a DM just saw that we were RPing there and we did some cool things, since we were already all level 9. I wholly recommend you all give it a try! Symphony is a lot of fun and the concept behind it gives me a sort of fantasy novel feeling!

I think it helped prove that new chars can be competitive with uberish ones...that gladiator took on some monsters that my level 60 character can't even hurt.

Best of all, sponsering a gladiator didn't even need to be expensive...i think i made all the gold back by betting with the dm on the fights.
