I've been meaning to say something for a while now...

AWESOME JOB!!!

Seriously, I walked outside buster's house and cheered IRL. So fitting for his house to be where it is and with the outside aesthetics! And a Navy HQ!!! Holy Guacamole!

Great job consolidating 4 areas into 2 while still keeping the feel of a huge city!

You used the real Colosseum!

AND THE MUSEUM!!!

The more I see the place, the more I love it :D

The only other thing I could possibly ask is to get the old Cordor portal working again ;p

But dayum! Nice work!

(and yes, Artos has area creation down to an art-form, I never realized just how detailed he got until I started playing around in the tileset trying to duplicate Cordor)

New Cordor is incredible! For me, it was all the little nods to history, the quiet in-jokes, and the nomad expansions that were the big points (and Galverson. That hound knows what's going on.).

The humour in the descriptions in the mine were the icing on a delicious, roleplay-rich cake. The Mine Safety Procedures (Someone probably forgot about them, all the way up there) coming a close second to Mine Worker Orion. From the trial of Holvin:

Code: Select all

Prosecutor Orion: Carrion, you of all people know this circus isn't in keeping with the law...*tosses his crumpled paper at his feet* Take that at my resignation. I'm going to do as the man advised and go back to honest mine work! If this is an example of a Cordor court, then you should convene them in the local asylum.
It looks like our glorious prosecutor really did follow through. It's awesome to see the fallout of events like that trickling down into the world.
May you live in interesting times.

Crag, just to clarify, it was irongron and co. who made the new Cordor areas. I just did the Cordor Theatre and the Derlson estate, and the NPCs inside each. All other credit goes to them! It's very time consuming work to make such detailed areas, and these guys outdid themselves (yet again!)

The more I play in the new Cordor the more amazed I am. The space planning, the dynamics of the city and the NPC's in it - brilliant. It really feels alive.

I know!

I just didn't want you to feel like just cause I love what they did means that I forgot about how great you are at it too! :D

Aww, thanks man! What I especially like about the new Cordor is how it still feels like an evolution of the city, instead of just a complete overhaul. The place has so much history, and these guys really kept the feel of it, made special homages, and also made it their own. I wouldn't have gone so far as Coreybush to call the old one "a joke", but this new stuff is a very huge improvement and presents new players with some showcase quality work.

I really love the new city. The more open feel of it is a massive improvement, it feels more like a place I can meet people in. And the farms! Oh, the farms. Shay is happy as ever cleaning out the barns and picking up eggs and chasing off Allips.

The Day/Night scripting. All the characters who are there in the day, ... and the ones that only come out at night ... Yes. Just, YES!!! I've just now started to experience more than half of the areas fully day and night. And Furth is amazing now!!! ;)
