Thanks Friends of Neville
So Neville passed into the Green Fields tonight, and I think he had a good run on Arelith. I'd like to thank some of the characters who made his life there so fun and a bit stressful. What follows is a partial list. There were far too many great PCs to remember them all:
Giorgio Silveroak: one of the first characters Neville interacted with in game on Arelith and a reliable neighborly conversant ever since.
Absalom Nightlyre: neville's tutor. Taught Neville his letters. Actually wrote up a reading primer for the little savage. Thanks.
Poppy Popkins: the first mayor Nev reported to when he joined the Fort Bendir guard. The famed Pie-maker was a real inspiration.
Arthur Swordhill, Hunter Underleaf, and Johanne Blackthorne, who all mentored Nev when he first joined the Hawk'ins.
Merla Brightwick and Colan
Andriarna Dirtytoes, Nevilles adopted daughter and source of much worry.
Larken: the grim warden Neville entrusted with his last wishes.
Buppi and Dazza
Pesto
Doili Troff: who Neville saw as a very wise leader, a good neighbor and a great ally
Kainda Ogden: who showed more compassion than Neville ever thought a big job was capable of.
I'll probably be adding to this list soon

Whoa, Neville died? What a run! He was certainly a cool character, I liked him a whole bunch.

And I decided not to log back in last night.
Typical luck.
Thank you for the RP.
I'm sure having Andy for a daughter only hastened his death.

Naw, but it made his last few decades more interesting. He was always pleased to have her, even when he was frustrated.

Nev was a lot of fun to be around, be it as a feisty little strangeling or a wizened mentor. I look forward to seeing what you come up with next time.

Storm will be very sad to know that Neville's gone, but also glad that he's somewhere he can be young and healthy. Even if they didn't get along always, she respected him.

Ahh, its fun to close out a story on an old character. Harran enjoyed Neville when they interacted, the little savage.

Gragor will always have fond memories of the wild revel in the Grove with Nev, Andy, Roi, Daisy, Liam, and Larken. Such awesome happens rarely and is to be appreciated!
Re: Thanks Friends of Neville
Gregor is another who belongs on the list for kudos, along with Mithrim, and Allala and Pesto. Thanks for shaping Nevilles worldview.
And Bendir in general for being a very seemingly real and genuine virtual village. Even when the population got smaller at times with the ebb and flow of players, it always kept up that feel of community.
Riam, and Craven were also great. Nevs first real try at mentoring. I'd also be failing if I didn't mention Hafiz.

Thanks to all who attended Neville's cremation. He'd have been pleased. A few more names I need to mention:
Roigrin: Neville couldn't have picked a better successor to lead the Hawk'in, he thought she'd be good for the fort when he first met her and she's put his expectations to shame. Great hin and knows how to make an entrance.
Storm Harthglen (or whatever the last name is now): Neville may have always been quick with his judgemental attitude about how Cordor and the city guard were run but of their commanders she was the most respected by him since Arvora.
Gotta mention Arvora. Neville was amazed how well she wore the mantle of command and could take charge of a scene despite not being able to see over the crowd.

Alkala Dapple (and one or two other Dapples)
Kraven Blackfoot
Reg (several of them)

A week late but..
Giogi is going to miss their talks and trying to figure out what the hell Nev was saying!

Just realized I'd be remis not to add Kers Sendt to this list. One of Nevilles finest and most stressing protégés in the Hawk'ins.
