Myon and people around

Post by dirza »

Originally i had no intention to join up with Myon. The city did not fit our concept of wild elven clan, but when one buddy has gone to Amia shelving his elf and the other lost relieble connection (Brazilian wastes! :D ) I had to adapt and decided to see whats going on in Myon.

I would like to thank to all who suffered through Ravaroras songs (or my attempts to produce ig sort of singing), and did not walk off like some others  . I found this to be very exhausting, to push ig actually some song requires good planning and my rushed attempts usually yield no such result as i would wish.

I must give a tiny kudos to the two, now already unknown humans, who bullied, insulted and attacked my elf 3 hours after creating her. Healing kits wasted, no idea where to get that third level, and already being pulled into pvp... :?: :!: You two unknown, from whom one of you died to her axe, have shifted my elf from slight distrust to humans into very strong dislike for them, and with me trying to keep up with how wild elves look at strangers, it means shes a little hostile (to friendly ones) up to straight direct hostility to (unfriendly ones) humans all around.

It also brought her into interaction with Toniel. Their childish chatting, teasing and taunting was fine and i am missing Toniel now. Sadly i was prowling portals and alike, had to pull you along more often. Toniel had another big impact on Ravarora. Her reccomending that when someone bullies her or attacks her, she has to run and look for guards...owww! That moment gave later to my character a new goal, stood behind joining sentinels. No, she will not run from those who bully elves, she will rip their heads off. So those like Toniel are protected. I liked Toniel a lot.

Syrian and Storm
I had been hoping to cooperate more, but Ravarora and Storm do not get so easily along, and for now i have hard time to imagine how to incorporate together being soldier, bard, and eilistraeen church....although we play along only on side - chats and encounters, it was always interesting and i knew not a single minute when Storm turns around and walks off offended by even the goodly intended thing haha. I do believe that in future both will more cooperate, as for now Storm meddles in affairs out of hands of my toon.

Vanion, Isania, Maeralya, Sharwyn... and many others.
Hard to describe all as it would took very lenghty and i would still forget someone. I ll just pick few moments. Vanion and Isania barking friendly at each other, although my elf does not liek it much (he is king isnt he?:P). Vanion is one of very few elves sharing same values with my elf...maybe cause they are the only active meleers in platemails?
Nicodemus is fun, always coming unexpecting, from shadows, to hold a chat and part after, althought not directly playing along, they do cross each other. When i remember their first meeting in Nomad, i laugh so much! But i think the Trockard settled the things after, thank you for that!
Maeralya - the never ending irritation from her, friendly smiling at anyone, even if barely known, showing so carelessly secret places in forest to random strangers! But also having the grim side, when going to seek enemies, Ravarora is happy shes on her side, seeing that determination. They are in very opposite attitudes. And the work you took on the armour for Ravarora was increadible (but seeking for lyrycs of these balad is hell ill tell you!).
Sharwyn - few more arguments on the uniform and my wild elf will jump off down from city in desperation. My elf will never get up Sharwyns obesseion of ceremonial armour, of the requirment for perfect code. That will happen when you stuff a wild barbarian into uniform telling her what to do and so on hehe. We dont travel often along, but it is rather issue of the level difference, in time i will even that and we play directly more together!

There are many others, like Dwindidare priestess (sorry, first name is too complex!), Beldrin, Anariin and so on. Playing along is fun, and in time we hopefuly interact more.

OUTSIDERs
Mioz - that was fun that actually you had to save life of my elf on first encounter. It is hard to split attention between so many places and even on our level yet, so our play a bit lags behind what we would like to. But i love the contrast between my elf and your drow. Their inability to understand each other because think in different manner. Your drow having solid arguments on killing humilated drow and being unable to grasp the view of my elf. They both want to abuse each other but both are unwilling to betray their side :) It makes up for very intersting companionship, and we will see where it develops.

Buppi and company
My elf and Buppi will rarely get along. Lets hope it will not ending in them killing each other, i am glad to see one of few characters who sticks to his own morals and codex. My elf is CG, but on the first place are her friends and companions (whoever are they!), while Buppi appears to care for all even. It is said that two characters, who are supposed to face same enemies, are so often barking at each other. I did really enjoy your trip to mountains for wolfsbane, although our toons did not chat a lot.
Buppi had been quick to judge her in the beginning (passing by the drow does not mean you work with them!) and wild elf gains and builds her trust very slowly and hard.
The struggle unfortunetly had undirect impact on her stance to knights of Roads and together with the experience with humans in Cordor, she likes not to meddle around with Shallan and crew, although it is fun to stay together on some encounters (and when other elves do deal with them, kind of forcing my elf to be in your presence!).

Tialirr Jarilith
The player of this toon is excelent Rper, i wish i could have portrait my Ravarora in way as Tialirr is. I wont be able to reach such level of play. I cannot describe it in other words then amazing, and i am glad Ravarora can hang around her. The contrast between rushy, wild warrioress from forest and shy scholar who is friend with everyone is so huuuuuuge!
When Tialirr is with her friend, Celendil, and discuss magic-like stuff and other, it is so awsome. My apology that my own elf so often disrupts you :)

I have a lot of respect for Ravarora's character, as the only one I've personally seen that really captures the Wild Elf mentality and attitude. I've enjoyed watching (from a distance) her subtle conflicts with the other Myon elves that you've listed and her hostility towards... basically everyone else. :D She and Celendil are polar opposites in a lot of ways so it will be interesting to see if there's conflict in the future between them.

Keep it up!

So say we all! I adore Ravarora! There's a lot that old man Nicodemus sees in this young elf that reminds him of his own past self, and see fit to "nudge" from time to time as was the case with him and his elders.

...and of course Ravarora sees fit to ignore most of it just as I had Nicodemus do!

Always look forward to see how this character is going to grow!

Ravarora's always fun to run into - even if my playtimes tend to leave Sharo dropping out with alarming frequency (sorry about that!). It's a real help to the Sentinels to have such a consistent presence and, without her help, Sharo'd likely still be floundering on that strange middle ground between recruit and wisecracking affiliate.
May you live in interesting times.
