That was a really cool event. One that was much more than just a glorified grinding trip - it allowed pretty much everyone involved to do something a bit deeper, quakes and storms and all.
There was certainly a bit of poignancy as that last Tanarruk fell from his horse, even after all his Mean Words he said.
If this level of quality is what I've to expect from the new dash of DMs, I'm super, super excited for the future.

Yep, that was incredible. The first DM event I've been directly involved in, and it was an absolute ball. The storm was a nice touch, driving the kobolds and surfacers alike into the shelter of the caves. Just a lot of nice little touches in there that made it all that little bit special.
