Burrowhome Gathering
Thanks to everyone that showed up, ate food, and all around made the crafting time worth it.
I ~think I remember everyone that was there, but I'd feel like an Snuggybear if I forgot anyone so, I'll leave it at that

Re: Burrowhome Gathering
It was a blast. Lots of Earthkin representation and elves... Next time we'll hire a Dwarf bard. I hear they are excellent for parties. Yup!

I've 99 problems in The Grove to solve, and you Arrinock, aren't one of them.
Re: Burrowhome Gathering
Did you guys do fireworks, or does anyone ever use those at all? Req's too high? I always wondered.

I wanted to do fire works, but was unable to get my hands on gonne slugs. Its "on the list". (There is something really amusing to me about saying its "on the list" to you Artos)

Re: Burrowhome Gathering
Sadly no fireworks. Great idea for the next one though. Never seen them in action to be true.
Much love to all that showed up for the Meet and Greet. A huge gathering that was magnificently catered by Gem (FountainSoda) I am truly impressed and appreciative to have her around.
Ivory really came out of her shell. Great attention getter

Re: Burrowhome Gathering
It was held in the Gathering Hall instead of the Garden; personally I'd recommend they use some low-level gems or Spell Components instead of Gonneshells.
Re: Burrowhome Gathering
I think yer right. When they were added, of course I was worried about spammage. But now that I think about it, if you're walking through Bendir Dale and see those fireworks going off, it's like a big-ol Bat Signal for Hinparty. It should almost just be a free-for-all lever, or yeah, something very accessible. I like yer idea InTheFlesh, different low level gems for each lever. (each one is slightly different in the VFX if I recall). Would be nice to do something with all those greenstones and malachites and whatnot.

Re: Burrowhome Gathering
That was a great gathering and I wish I could have stayed longer, but sadly the wife decided during fun time to demand my help, so I had to flee. But I loved seeing so many earthkin about (and even the elves and human!). Kudos to those who put this together!
Re: Burrowhome Gathering
That was indeed a lot of fun. As an aside, I was eating oreos in real life throughout most of that.
It's called method acting.

It's not method acting unless we get pictures of you with an oreo crumb beard like Borin had with all the food.
Or a picture of you with a cracker lamb stew cinnamon tart sandwich
