So I've tried to write these before, but usually end up just deleting them because they feel woefully incomplete. All the same, I'm going to try to actually submit this one, because with an extremely busy semester starting next Monday, I may not get a chance to write this.
For those that are interested in knowing: I'm headed up to Michigan Tech, where I hope to double major in mechanical engineering and material science while participating in MTU's Air Force ROTC program. Oc, all of this is subject to change... but, while the plan may be worthless, planning is vital.
Thanks to everyone who has played with any of my characters, namely Lhyr, Prauun, and Dulcie. I'm going to take this chance to rave about just how much fun it has been to play all of them-- especially Dulcie. It's been great to have a creative outlet, even something as silly as a fictional virtual newspaper.

Note: I may still be on/off in the next few days, as I try to bring some sort of temporary close to Dulcie's story. Note that I may bring her back, should I ever return to being a regular-- and for that reason, I don't intend to give out any spoilers about her storyline.
I will happily state my original concept and inspiration for Dulcie: Rita Skeeter, aka, that evil reporter from Harry Potter. She's also why I decided to dress Dulcie purple, because the only thing more obnoxious than an upbeat and manipulative reporter dressed in green is an upbeat and manipulative reporter dressed in purple. I soon discovered that twisting everyone's words (see: Toad), while fun, was a great way of making sure no would give interviews... so I had to scale that down. In the end, Dulcie's personality and roleplay grew well beyond Rita Skitter, but it's always nice to see where things started.
Know that, even while I may not be playing regularly, I may hop on every now and then to play temp characters, suiting my fancy. They will almost certainly be in the underdark, and almost certainly be gnolls.

And so begins the woefully incomplete list of Kudos:
Basically the entire Dev Team, from Mith and Artos to Ironron and Midnight)
You all do an absolutely fantastic (and thankless) job of making Arelith the growing, dynamic world that it is. I'd also like to give a special callout to whoever designed the current Cordor Press, as it is a really interesting tool, and I hope someone else picks it up in my absence.
The DM Team)
I've never been on any server for any game for as long as I have Arelith without having had a bad experience with the admin/moderation team. Do they give you pills that make you awesome? Is it like some sorta matrixy thing that they download in your brain, or perhaps an X-Man transformation they force you to undergo? IDK. Either way, you are all awesome. A special callout goes to the DMs that dealt with my bullshit helped me while I was getting the Newdawn Chronicles going and published, especially Grumpycat (I think?) who did 90% of that legwork.
Anyone who has helped with with a build)
I'm super guilty of enlisting the help of kind forum people to help me make super strange and obscure builds, only to play them to level 5 before getting characteritis and deciding I want somethings else. So, kudos for dealing with my bullshit.
The Underdark)
Yes, Dulcie is my main, and has been for a while-- all the same, I love the underdark. I've said it before and I'll say it now, I'm an UDer. If I ever come back and play anyone other than Dulcie, it will be in the underdark.
Gnolls)
Gnolls and everything related to gnolls. Need I say more?
Anyone Dulcie has harassed for an interview)
I'd like to thank you all for being willing to bend your roleplay to suit mine. Politicians and other folks of interest are, naturally, Dulcie's prey of choice... but none were safe from her dagger-quill.
Anyone who has submitted anything for the Newdawn Chronicles or Cordor Press)
Because writing a newspaper by yourself is hard, and having help gives me an excuse to be lazy.
The player of Toad)
Yes, this is an extremely belated kudos. Still, when Dulcie first made it to the island, torturing Toad was what convinced me that being a full-time reporter could be valid roleplay. This is a kudos that has been in my back pocket for a while.
DestroyerOTN)
Haven't seen you in a while. All the same, I quite enjoyed working with your characters, both as an UDer and Dulcie.
Flameborn)
I never really decided if I genuinely liked you and your characters, or just OOC hated your guts. All the same, you are a great roleplayer and your characters certainly left their impressions on mine.
Iceborn)
Likewise, great roleplayer. Nuff said.
Caldura Firebourne)
You and your characters (namely, Kish'rin) were some of the first I encountered playing Arelith, and helped set the tone for the rest of my experience here. I'm quite disappointed that our characters haven't had enough excuses to interact as of late.
The player of Shanna Tahir)
A fun, quaint little woman to play with. Always nice to see you running about.
The player of Bok)
Likewise, its nice to see you harassing folks outside Cordor's gates with your completely incomprehensible speech. I remember once, during a council meeting, someone cast Fox's Cunning on you so that we could understand what the hell you were saying... that had me chuckling, for sure.
Mr_Rieper)
I could never kudos everyone I've interviewed, but interviewing Rannos always seemed to stick out.
SeventyDays)
Namely, your character Penerith Silaya. I'm not sure where this player ended up-- if they left (perm or temp) or if they're on an alt. Still, playing with your character was always absolutely charming.
The player of Lucia Malveaux)
I'm sorry I wasn't there to be part of the end of Lucia's story. Still, for what parts I did witness, it was always fun to play with you: always chaotic and unexpected, but never in a heavy-handed or god-emote sorta way.
Willy Wonka's Protege)
Very roleplay. So character. That fun. Wow.
The player of Bella Weatherbee)
They left, right? Oh well, kudos anyway. Dulcie and Bella WILL take over the island, one tea-luncheon at a time.
P Three)
Gah, because now I feel guilty for not adding you to begin with! So many good times.
The player of Lairilwa Seel)
Always a pleasure to play with, and I'm super sad I won't be able to continue passive-aggressively glaring at you after our last encounter. All the same, I hope you had as good a time as I.
....oh god, this list is incomplete. I'll try to add more names as they come to me, but right now I'm tired. I'll still likely hop on the forums every now and again, to see what's up-- so I guess I'll still be around. Waiting. Watching.
