Demon Invasion Event

Post by Manticore »

All I can say is WOW! That was thrilling, epic... I quickly run out of words to describe it.

Huge kudos to DM Temerity, who seemed to be running most of the show all along, and anyone who helped him out on the DM side.

There were a lot of smaller side events leading up to this over the last few weeks as well, and it's really been awesome to be able to have been part of it. And then today a massive battle across the entire server, culminating in a showdown with Paush.

Kudos to all the players who were part of the fun today!

I missed it because my parents kidnapped me. If the Tower isn't destroyed, I would like to ask DMs for advice on how I can help make invasions vs the Tower fun for people. Maybe Wish or Temmy can offer suggestions via PM?

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
Truly EPIC! Kudos! @ Oakes.

Thank you DM Temerity. I saw action happening ALL AROUND THE ISLAND! From Guldorand, Myon, Bendir to Cordor, I saw the spawns popping up to terrorize PC's all over the surface! Just thinking about logistics of managing the campaign makes my head spin. Great job, DM Temerity. That was an incredible event. Kudos to you, and all those PC's involved!

This must've been hard to do, as a DM, keeping track of events and groups of players in multiple settlements around the island. Huge kudos to all of you! :]

DMs did a great job of managing an Isle wide event. Really enjoyable.

It was very scary at burrowholme, shanna doing relay runs of bodies taking them to saftey, must have carried about 20 people, chain raising 15 of them, wards as much as possible, area heals as much as possible. spending 18 hours rebuilding Lyssa's arms and hands, coming out to then try and help celendil which just finished her off. XD

very nice event, and ALL IN ALL the lag was acceptable compared to the siyabad event a few weeks ago, good god.

LORD this.

Poor Lyssa will never be the same. Good times!

HUGE props to the Cordor Crew. I can't even remember everyone that was there, save Iocastos who tends to stand out. ;) You guys kicked major butt.

Thank you for the kind words, everyone. It was fun to run, albeit hectic.

The final fight was good fun for me, with a few beers on the table and metal music slotted in. This one, If you're curious. A well-deserved win for everyone, and you are free of existential crises...at least for a bit.

Absolute blast. On the last life of an MoD and survived. And thank you to all the DMs, devs and players I interacted with who made this possible.

Ryana: "Not a paladin." I'll take that as a compliment.

The fact my character made it through an event like this without stabbing.....anything....friend for foe....might be the most absurd thing possible.

Great fun. The Hawk'ins did what they could to defend Burrowhome, and all the assistance from the Earthkin Alliance one could ask for was there, especially from Brogendenstein. Everyone did well, despite the hard odds. And luckily, there was a happy ending :D

Aloise "Lois", Biarray "Ray", Uniethrade. INACTIVE: Ivory Bushdiggger DEAD: Cuchilla. Beliat, Clyasy. Cristyn. Fadriatta. Fraya Stensamler (Chief Librarian). Goirin. Greensleeves. Gwydynya. Hilda. Kaxandra. Trista. Willisa.
