Siyu Sets Sail for Celestia

Post by Twily »

Siyu was my first epic level character I've ever had on this server and I wanted to give a huge shout out to all the amazing players who made that possible. Everyone I interacted with on her seemed to move her forward as a character, even if they were trying to kill her.

I'm sure I'll forget some names, if I do forget you just yell at me in the comments.

Kyle Frayer-Eldafire - She knew him for a comparatively short amount of time, yet he still changed her just as much, if not more, than everyone else. A huge shout out for your Eldafire family line and to the amazing personality you gave Kyle.(and for the portrait pack! I'm loving this new one I got from it :D )

Edan Paryn - A great character, a lot of fun to play with(even if it did end with a bang ;) ), and backed by an amazing player. Edan's player helped shape who I am as both a roleplayer and person more than anyone else I've ever met on this game before.

Vincent DiMarco - Another extremely defining character for Siyu, Vincent and her shared stories about their past and present alike, and somehow could always relate to every single one.

Lairilwa Seel - Easily one of her closest friends, but always a bit Shade-y. ;) It's a shame I never got around to my plan of baking her some sweets, although it's probably for the best given Siyu's 1 point in Cooking.

Kyomi Sin'vah - Another extremely close friend of Siyu, although regrettably always kept at more of a distance. She was always there for Siyu whenever something was going on. While always on the receiving end of chaos, she somehow managed to pull through every time.

Ravarora/Sharwyn - While neither ended up playing a significant role in Siyu's life(due to Siyu declining the invitation to the sentiels), they still added a depth to the character. Both have unique personalities and do a great job creating an inviting environment for elves to join in.

Giogi Silveroak - A standard obligatory shout out to Giogi. ;) Thank you for letting yet another one of my characters into The Nomad, despite the fact this time around was for some community service.

Elinaet J Nierdre - Definitely her first true friend on the isle, Elinaet helped pave the foundation of Siyu and is the reason I didn't quit her early on. A huge thank you for that!

Celendil Silverspear - One of my biggest regrets about ending the character now has to be that I didn't get to know Celendil a bit better. From what few interactions we had, she always seemed like an amazing character with a lot of depth. Hopefully I can get to know her on the next character I create :)

Maeralya/thatmalewarriorelf - These two brought Siyu to places I as a player had never even seen before. Thank you for the amazing trips we went on!

Tresmer D/Lyssa Keltain/Chand Ashvonte/All the other circle members - The circle is amazing. It's a shame Siyu wasn't too involved with the group, but they were welcoming of everyone and willing to help their members equally no matter their stance. The classes you put on are great, and it's extremely refreshing to see a consistent scholarly approach to a mage guild.

Lyssandre Pollux - I never really got to know her too well due to our paths rarely crossing, but she had something good going, and I hope it can eventually take off.

Cyrus G - I never could figure out what side he was on, if any, but he earned Siyu's trust somewhere along the line. He was a great ally to have even if they never became close friends.

Duncan Waynolt - Once again, I never was completely certain of what side he was on, but he was always honest when Siyu and him talked, and he helped her out many many times.

Shanna T - Our first encounter was rather unusual ;) , and I'm amazed at how fast she grew as a character and how much she experienced in such as short period of time. She was Siyu's first and only student, and unfortunately even that was only just a reality. Sorry about the lack of involvement in that area, things went crazy.

And a shout out to Siyu's enemies as well!
Dartak - Siyu got completely annihilated by Dartak, as I'm sure many others have before. The lasting impact of their encounter lead to some great story progression for Siyu that persisted long after their fight.

Superiority Song - Even still, I think she was up to something, but I never found out what. ;) You're doing an amazing job at what you do, if you are actually doing something. :P

Cassius Gallowstone - Cassius was a genius. I've seen evil people come through Cordor before, but never had I seen someone who created as much roleplay behind the curtains as I saw with Cassius. Siyu was involved in half a million plots with half a million people to try to catch Cassius in the act, and in the end he always stayed one move ahead of us.

I'll really miss Siyu! She had a fun and mischievous side that really made her unique, plus watching all the trouble she got up to inspired me to play a Favored Soul at some point myself.

Look forward to encountering your next character!

I feel I may need to bash you, and then BashAgain you for the facepalm I endured.

Siyu was a fun personality to run about with and one who definitely played a large part in Edan's evolution as a character and story overall so she shall be missed. God's willing we might even survive your next toon, fingers crossed!
