I love that idea. I would suggest a new thread for original art submissions for DEVs to select from to create more merch options. Original art only of course. Anything that's already out there could land us in trouble for copyright and trademark.

I wanna a line of Arelith T shirts, hats, posters and mugs my friends! First off, I want to order a Arelith Map rug for my living room. Could we make this happen? Let's set up Arelith Store or something and put up a link to the main site next to the donate button in big bold letters: Arelith Merchandises! We would have all proceeds going into server maintenance.

Here in America, we could have "Vote for Cordor" buttons, "Make Wharftown Great Again" caps and "Feel the Guaji" bandanas LOL

You know, I wasn't kidding about the rug thing. I think it'd be awesome. I totally second Arelith T-Shirt.

I'll look into it. Anything is possible these days. Though, having lost the original files, all I have left is a super hi-res psd, and in my initial research of custom rug places, I'd need something that can separate white ink onto a separate layer, which I can't do with my flattened psd.

Still, looks like there are other options out there for the rug to become reality (hell, I might get one too for the porch). I saw cafepress does 5x7 it looks like, without the stringent art guidelines.

As far as other merchandise, when I get some free time at work, I'll come up with some more goodies for the Arelith store, like shirts and such.

In any case, I have access to a large-format printer that I'd prefer to use. Can I just donate directly to the Server Fund (and you, whatever your share is) in exchange for the highest-res copy you have? Beats giving these third-party merchants their cut.

And, if it comes out well, I might be able to offer custom extra-large prints, which would be neato.

I don't actually do any Arelith merchandising. I think it is done by Artos. I probably should set up a shop one day, for all the various art and the like, but I find it stressful enough just running a patreon for the server.

Its real - I do remember this map from a billion years ago - what i can't remember is if Artos is still active. As the server has moved across the pond and the old Dev/Dm team scattered to the winds, I do not know.
