Though I'm not expecting a lot of response here given how I played this character, it feels appropriate to make a note: I rolled Yniah Tueln today. The Aasimar Druid was something close to 10 IRL years old, and had gone through 4 different renames: rolling felt overdue. Most public interaction with this character took place under the names Tuvyun and Yniah, the former unfortunately meaning "Doctor" in Celestial, the latter meaning "Trial Doer" in the same language.
After playing for years as a nomadic meddler and a subtle influence, I tried (and botched) coming out of the shadows to start a communal Druidic faction in the Zurkhwood. I'd like to first apologize to the players (and ActionReplay) who I left hanging when I ditched my efforts. Secondly, though, I'd like to thank everyone who participated in trying to make it work! Mioz, you were awesome - super, super sorry I caved when I did. Irgix, curse you for leaving first: you were the coolest Druid in the UD (sorry Kavreg, but you had too many alts to contend)! Morfin and Asb'el, kudos for reaching out to our faction when it was new, and giving it the acknowledgment it needed to carve out an existence. Also, kudos to Nyilan, who was super cool about an off-the-wall experimental storyline that I wish I stuck around to finish, before he rolled, himself! Kudos also to Wicket; she gave Yniah a lot to feel responsible for when she went to town on the Heartwood. Oh, and Zestra: from hellballing me out of stealth to making me the patron of druidry in the UD, you were a scary but awesome support character in everything I was trying to pull off!
Unrelatedly, one of my favourite-ever interactions (a total one-off) was with Elaine Caephus (sp?), and although I never saw her again, letting me avoid dismemberment by RPing the body of a shapeshifter was pretty nifty when I was at her mercy! Thanks goes to Clara Ders for being there, but more, for being everywhere: I could never meddle in surface nature stuff without running into Clara being all active and inclusive up there - always a good interaction. Though I ran into her less often, the same goes for Kalika, who gets special mention for some awesome RP in Celestia!
Going back some, kudos to Jahzard, Chana, and the Jacktar for being there to indoctrinate me into the ways of the UD and for providing that crucial sense of mystery in the dark when I first exiled meself. And though they likely have no idea as to why it was even significant, my thanks to Cassima, whose death was Yniah's reason for self-exile from practicing druidry on the surface in the first place. To be honest, I can't remember much from before Yniah went into the dark, so I know there's many more names I owe credit to, but they'll have to just know who they are! Kaissar comes to mind as a ridiculously enjoyable character I cannot remember doing anything meaningful with, but loved.
Lastly, from playing the way I did (taking half-year hiatuses, changing names, only interacting with people one at a time, keeping most interactions off the material plane) I was afforded the opportunity to observe people's storylines from a sorta birds-eye kinda place, and there are many characters that although I never interacted with at all, made the world better just for existing! This list would be too long to write, so I'll only offer one entry: everything ever played by Yma. I dunno why, but you just make things immersive for me, passively. Cheers! (EDIT: OH! Also, everything ever played by Archon, from Khayal through to Marcello). And all Flameborn's characters, who seem to create cool, classy conflict that often appears to outlast the actual given character.
My greatest regret is rolling with the staff of Anenden Sal'enden in my inventory. Bad form. Shoulda passed it on. My greatest achievement was that I never wore anything except the vesture I started in, off the boat - unenchanted.
Final kudos to Dartak, only because I'd never lost PvP once yet in 10+ years. I wasn't gonna say it then, but I was at -80% rest and -50% hunger. Curse you. THERE WILL NEVER BE A ROUND TWO.
Thanks for all the cake,
Kangles

There goes,
passing by like a shooting star,
another character that I wish I'd get to truly know.
I suppose I'll have to content with the fleeting memories of the Zurkhwood and standing too still knowing that the druid thought that potentially my mage could self-combust and explode randomly in any second!

Don't click weird links, kiddos.

One of Fadri's favorite people to look out for and stalk through town. Wish that the timing had been better on both our sides when she finally got the chance to be around him more. The interactions were always good and you were great ooc. Thank you for the few but memorable times.

Thank you for the Kudos! The character seemed very interesting and mysterious and I'm sorry we didn't get to interact more. Best of luck on yuor next character, whatever that may be.

Re: Rolling Kudos
Yniah scared the living daylights out of Azuilah, conjuring her to Celestia for a 'chat'.
I'm sad we never got to get more involved, you're awesome!

Clara will miss her druid pal who seemed to forget sometimes he wasn't a drow. Who wanted to study the planes and unpetrify the trees. But seemed to get darker the longer he stayed down there. I have to take some responsibity with dropped plots as she has sort of gotten shelved some. But I enjoyed all the times I got to rp with Yniah.
