Top mastery in crafting

We will file suggestions here that did not make the cut. Don't expect detailed responses, but the most common reasons are:

  • implementing the suggestion is impractical, or too much work for the gain
  • the suggestion is thematically against our design philosophy
  • the suggestion is too detailed/low-level
    Keep your suggestions broad and focused on RP benefits, please, not detailed suggestions of how to fix everything.

Top mastery in crafting

Greetings.

Is told in every fairy and fantasy tale that Elves and Dwarves were experts on certain crafting arts...

Elves as the top of arcane jewelry and carpentry; Dwarves as top of smithing and stone-building...
Every race could get his own crafting top masters...

Here the sugestion: Give to each race the capability to get:

a) A scalated Racial bonus to certain crafting bounded to them. (Characters would earn this when getting excellance in their racial favoured crafting, when investing at least 30 crafting points.
Orientative/samples of race bonus scores:

Art-crafting: Elves (+5), Humen (+2)
Smithing: Dwarves (+5), Humen (+2)
Tailoring: Hin (+5), Elves (+2), Humen (+2)
Coocking: Hin (+5); Elves (+3), Humen (+1)
Carpentry: Elven (+5); Humen (+2)
...

b) Access to certain top mastery items. (a few new recipes for each race top masters or just limit some old to them)

If this sugestion were not suitable, I could ask for just a bonus to Elves for Art-crafting and to Dwarves for smithing.
