This actually came up while casually chatting about the recent UD additions and how the drider dungeon was updated both under the profile of mechanics and the one of lore. Posting kudos out in the open to the staff feels awkward and might come across as boot licking, but I enjoyed the quests and events I have seen, I immensely enjoy how professional the staff is and I can't remember not receiving sensible answers or seeing questions and bug notices ignored.
The server feels alive and very well cared for. Issues and suggestions are addressed instead of being brushed aside, and this shows in the little changes that keep popping up here and there. Unfortunately, teams tend to be barraged with requests and notices about what needs to be fixed rather than praised for all the work they have done, but it absolutely does not mean that players (though here I will only speak for myself) have not said or thought things like these:
"Thank GOD for exploration xp."
"The Paush plot was so damn exciting, it was so long ago and we're still playing consequences."
"Wow, the farmable pit fiend bug was -already- fixed? It was reported- what, two weeks ago?"
"Drow war bands spawning YES YES YESSSSS"
"The drider dungeon overhaul both fixed tedious, endless duergar grind and had an enormous IC impact on our characters."
"I can't remember the last time I pinged the DM channel and nobody answered within 1-2 minutes."
"No more kill scripts. Aw yiss."
And so on. Thank you, guys.

Re: DMs and Devs
For real. The dev team has been doing a wonderful job in the UD, the new myconid areas are great and the nidus is kewl too.
We're feeling the love down here. Thanks. <3
