Conor's, overdue goodbye

Post by pigman »

finally got around to making an account here and wanted to give my gratification to everyone who made my first character on Arelith, and first experience in a role play community such an amazing one. truthfully, i went inactive at the peak of conor becoming important and when i returned recently i felt that rather than re invent him, he should fulfil his dream of becoming one with the storm and welcomed by talos.

in no order of importance rather just who i think of immediately!

Nazca and osanu, for being the first people to welcome the brash illiterate talos worshipping barbarian into their circle and eventually a part of the management of wharftown

Cassius, for being the first person to send me a tell saying that he loved my character and i should keep it up (HUGE as a new player)

Caldura/flameborn for giving conor true purpose and guiding him to glory for the furies (very sorry i disappered in the midst of it all) as well as the bloodpact formed between khan and conor, you two were the most influential and fantastic roleplay conor experienced

bardin, for raising conor when he literally drank himself to death in the slanty shanty

Yniah for giving conor obscure quests and taking him under his wing as a guardian of the zurkhwood

smoke, i hated your jokes so much but you treated conor well and your joy let him forgive you

bok, conor just wanted to love you, and you shunned him, for that i thank you as bok became conors only true nemesis.

im sure there are many more who helped shape my first character and experience on arelith, so i truly thank everyone who keeps the game alive from the devs to the dms, the playerbase, and everyone in between.

oh, and dartak, you killed my best friend and i only kind of forgive you because you gave me the adamantine back.

anyhow, im sure this is long and rambling, 8am, no sleep etc TL;DR i am tremendously grateful for the experience i had on conor

Aaahhh. Conor was great for the two sisters to interact with. Sad everything fell apart at the end.
