Just having a couple public boats in towns that the town won't automatically determine is a "State owned military ship" would go a long way. Maybe not even allow it to scour the seas or sail to Sibayad or any of the islands, simply remain in land but can still be intercepted by other ships.. Simply remove the grapple cannons from them and allow them to fish like the Pennyrose

I'm of the opinion that boats may as well become a rentable thing. Since the day they were put in it has always been the issue of ownership by people who either use it for a small few people. Or people who just own it like any other quarter just for the sake of hogging, with no rp or legit reason to keep.

So far seeing that you can rent a boat. There has been more people with the ability to finally get a chance to experience the boat system compared to before. As much as I would like to see pirate rp. I don't really see the server interested in it at all. Else all those boat owners would have taken steps to do some navel or pirate rp for everyone.

Lawful good characters have a hard time explaining why their city owned military ship is out there smashing Amnish vessels or pillaging their neighbors ships.

Pretty sure the Amn thing is from IG events but I could be wrong.

And Amnish vessels aren't a thing.

It's Amnian. I've even offered to fix this one, but have been told not to. Why Arelith insists on being wrong, I have no idea.

Good. Now remember it's not.

Going to make an effort to help correct this misconception with the name of Amn's people by referring to them as "Those guys from Amn" or, if pressed, "Amnianish".

Give us more boats that aren't tied to settlements. Boats are awesome and fun and I want one for me and my friends. Gimmie.
