Well I havent seen a Sunite altar in the wilderness....
If I do though I wouldnt OOCly complain about it. IC my character would wonder why a Sunite altar is in the wilderness, where monsters inhabit it. They would rationally, seek out the nearest Sunite priest or priestess they could find and tell the Sunite clergy about telhese weird altars in the wilds. Have a talk about it on the who, what why where how over tea or coffee or whatever the characters feel like drinking etc.... thereby generating some RP oppurtunities while I am at it.
There are plenty of ways to go about a percieved "problem" without just declaring a very drastic one solution that came from an angry place. Its a PW server that is open to most people who play NWN, in some ways Arelith became popular because most players find a little place here where they can go to and play... lets not ruin that for them. If they need guidance, lets give it to them without alienating them, yes?
Fixtures, their placement, and the rules that protect them.

For the love of everything that is good in this world, do not put down a fixture that is not renamed or redescribed.
It screams a lack of effort and laziness. That's part of the reason why people see a lot of it as spam.

Katernin Bersk, Chancellor of Divination; Kerri Amblecrown, Paladin of Milil; Xull'kacha Auvry'rae, Redcap Fey-pacted; Sadia yr Thuravya el Bhirax, Priestess of Umberlee; Lissa Whitehorn, Archmage of Artifice

Wait, can I have an opinion personally that my character doesn't share? My character and how they act are nigh separate from how I, the player, act or think. I, personally, hate fixtures in wilderness areas. My characters would have varying views on them probably dependent on their own ethos.Zaravella wrote: Thu Aug 29, 2019 2:56 am If I do though I wouldnt OOCly complain about it. Didnt say you cant. All I was saying is that there is a better more productive way of going about things without bulldozing things that others took the time creating...
In the wilds the most I seen are nature gods altars, or war god altars which I thought fit. and I havent really seen any eyesores....
Can you be more specific which areas in the server do you think have eyesore piles of fixtures?

Do your part people. Trashbin anything with zero description. If the creator couldn't be arsed to put any effort into its placement, it contributes nothing to the game world.
Wipe it out.

Or pick them up as your own, rename them and add description.Durvayas wrote: Thu Aug 29, 2019 5:13 amThis. Entirely.Xerah wrote: Thu Aug 29, 2019 3:05 am For the love of everything that is good in this world, do not put down a fixture that is not renamed or redescribed.
