Kudos to the Shieldmeet!
Late to arrive, was I. Could not crash the party as I yearned, as a result... but, with the way I -did- get my RP in and word off, 'twas a nice, wide, spanning gathering! I do ever enjoy when so many players elect to gather as one, and simply hold a fine, PvPless, peacetied chat. Get down to getting stuff done, no?
We should have -more-!
Additive kudos to Terringale for ever-persistent stare-offs, cringes, and generally allowing my character to ceaselessly troll you.
Further, as extended, to Tibbs. Jolly good hin, that one! More of them, I must have. *Nods!*
... oh, and Gideon. Stopping me down the road... *tssk* bugging girls so much, thought you had other interests that -statedly- haven't changed!

Re: Kudos to the Shieldmeet!
While I honestly do favor little meetings and events, I do have to say thanks to all those who attended.
Turn up rate was rather good. Though I know I missed a few key messages here and there due to the amount of players present.
But yes, thank you to all of you especially the one who organized it... Mithrim. =)

Just go down... it's there, buried in the update of the thread.

I thought I was going to be nailed to the stake and crucified when I announced a reset having not realized this was going on. Whoops. Sorry you guys, glad you called me off in time. Glad you seemed to have fun!

Re: Kudos to the Shieldmeet!
So sorry I missed this, but a RL wedding for very dear friends had to take precedence. C'est la vie. But kudos to Mith for all his work setting it up!

I especially enjoyed the almost-war at the beginning.
Such hostilities deserves a Kudos. Kudos to Layla and Oliver for keepin' it real!

Re: Kudos to the Shieldmeet!
Kudos to Myon for giving the event, and for the planning of it, things like the field games and gifts made it feel very genuine. And the monument, you gave Kregor a Standing Stone flashback and got him almost misty for a moment.
Also kudos to the Bramble Watch - the new core of a solid group that has sprouted up over the last month. It always makes me beam when the faction makes an impressive showing as a group to any event, peaceful or hostile. You guys rock.
Also, kudos to the villains among the gathered for adding the tension. It wouldn't be the same without it.

Sounds utterly awsome. Wish I could have gone.
Re: Kudos to the Shieldmeet!
I was planning to start a Kudo's thread to thank all whom helped with this, but it seems I did not need to?
I am very happy that everyone had a fine time and enjoyed the event.
Decided to try to throw in some realms lore with an event for all. I was ASTOUNDED at the huge number of players whom attended. I had more that I wished to do with the event, but with the lag and the heavy chat logs I had to cut things down a bit.
I will still lay out a string of HUGE thank yous to others whom helped with this:
To JP. Ping, for there thousand and one items to gift out to others, each one with pages of rich descriptions ! You ...I could.......well lets just say I am in awe and thankful.
To Amras, Ari, and Lovely Lady Sia Ossear - whom helped make fixtures and charted stuff around for Mith
To Ollie, and the Knights of the Mystic fire for their MASSIVE circus camp to mystra, and for playing their religion and alignments to a T. Even if it was disruptive. Also for helping to spread the word of the gathering.
To Layla for recovering quick from PVP and playing along to allow for a successful gathering.
To Darrian, Navira, Kregor and Andy of Bendir, for also spreading the word of the meet and attending with their people.
To everyone for listening to me and pretending to have fun
Truly, Kudos and thanks.

Re: Kudos to the Shieldmeet!
I had to work today so couldn't make the shieldmeet. Soko wouldn't have hung out there long anyways, you know, to many people and all.
Am curious though if that Orc/half orc target he made and donated got used and created any rp at all though
Assuming some orc bloods showed up to the evernt
Anyways, you guys always put together some good stuff and this one a bit different instead of just in Myon. Wish I could have made it.

It did... My personal favorite was the Foppish Drow. Even took it so that I could have a ragdoll inside my quarters.Elves 4 Elves wrote:Am curious though if that Orc/half orc target he made and donated got used and created any rp at all thoughAssuming some orc bloods showed up to the evernt

Re: Kudos to the Shieldmeet!
It was enjoyable, if stressful for Andy.
So many cans of worms it opened due to being on Bendir land. :/
But great turnout though. A -mostly- drama-free event, which I really appreciate.
<3 Mithrim. Andy's unexpected rock in the current turbulent sea of her life.

Re: Kudos to the Shieldmeet!
yeah, apologies for the PvP, was trying to harm her and back away, but I was too slow and AoO'd her, killing her. But the vile creature, her Joker to me Batman, could not be ignored. :p
Other than that, and the drow dropping at the feet of that mage, I think it was a great success! Kudos to all that participated and ran it. Big kudos to Wojo and his tireless efforts to make that a great event!
And if anyone needs rugs, markstalls, cushions, braziers, banners, etc.. look me up, I am renting a house just to store the 134344325445 items I now have.
Ollie.

Re: Kudos to the Shieldmeet!
Yeah, it happens. No worries. I'm endlessly entertained when Layla gets to have the law on her side anyway.
Also, the RP leading up to/around/after it was good, and it created an interested new chapter to the conflict, so totally worth it.
