Maikan's Fairwell.
As much as it was fun, playing Maikan also proved to be an exercise of frustration. The ratio between one thing and the other was tipping more and more into the less fun part of it.
First of all, I think I never had as much fun playing the mechanical side of things or leveling up a character. There was always something to look forward to, even if it was just an increase in the size of wild shape. So kudos to the dev teams that improved the class over the years.
Then, I also have to give kudos and say thanks to all the elfy elves and Mayonaiseans, for being there, and being cool and giving me the actual chance to bounce my ideas off of.
Also kudos to everyone else Maikan managed to interact with over the span of the last four months.
For now, I think I need to take the proper brake I should've taken after rolling Borin.

I enjoyed Maikan-time. He was simultaneously recognisable and "other", and that's a neat trick to pull. Good job. He'll be much missed by the not-so-wolfy.

I will miss that hostile druid. While encounters always with bickering and hostility it was fun.

Arion's keeping that skull. Maikan was a real, rare treat and I'm sure as the hells going to miss him.
Winifred Rhoswen: "He said good things. Even said ye weren't a Paladin when I asked!"
Ryana: "Not a paladin." I'll take that as a compliment.

I absolutely loved Maikan's concept. Well-thought-out, and well-executed. Thank you.

Re: Maikan's Fairwell.
You spun a very fresh take on druidic magic: Maikan radiated "nature", and I think it's a difficult aspect to pull off credibly. Beautiful character.

What? Noooo.
I liked Maikan and was in the process of trying to find him more so Yeto could talk to him more. If you haven't rolled him yet, I'd love to have that conversation Yeto and Maikan were supposed to have about the Green Elves!
Maikan was interesting, I didn't get to interact with him nearly as much as I wanted but each time was definitely interesting. I hope to run into your next!

Re: Maikan's Fairwell.
I found Maikan very interesting. One of the few people I've encountered on Lomildur that I was never quite sure where I stood. Things were always relatively cordial but I always left each encounter with the feeling of having walked a razors edge between staying on his good side, and being eaten by a giant pack of wolves. "Is today the day he's decided I've killed too many animals (even if it was self defense in my eyes) and bites my throat out?" His dedication to protecting nature and the woodland around Myon specifically were well played. He definitely gave off the vibe that any slight would have swift retribution, with no remorse for the doing. I also enjoyed the unique and interesting way you displayed his connection with nature in the way you communicated while in your totem form.
