Adventure to Lantan

Post by azrael_athing »

I just wanted to send a Kudos to the adventureparty of Lantan, as it has not been yet done. Even though I could not stay the entire evening the event I was able to take part of was a blast, but unfortunatly we are all mamals that require to sleep.

It bothers me that I had to go when I did, and if I had time to stay I would have managed a spontanois lecture about the Gnomen Gods to show off just to what extent Terto is a very pious Gnome who will not kneel to pray even once in his life, and elaborate to such an extent that the Outsiders (read Humans, Elves and others), would have been able to solve that puzzle without the Gnomen assistance, unfortunatly it was not so. Perhaps next time?.

Special thanks for the following:
Lissa
Being a central part of this plot and this string of events is hard work, but thank you for the invite to this event which was not all about killing a horde of Spriggans, which I see as a considerable bonus. Unfortunatly I had to leave early, but I can't wait to run into you IC to better grasp what happened.

Saphira
Soon enough Terto and Saphira will learn the trick of finnishing eachothers sentances, as it seams they are often found thinking the same thoughts, worrying over the same people, and explaining things similary. We will simply have to work on that.

Naehlin?
Terto seams to get along poorly with the Teiflings and their hotheader temper, (most likley Tertos own fault for not being the least bit diplomatic when he speaks), and I will take up on that friendly rivalry anyday. Your wonderfull looming threats in Infernal added a certain flair to the encounter.

Jadoth
The only one of us (I think) that had a desire to rescue the drowining pirates. One could almost taste the reality hitting him, when it was reveiled the rest of the group had little to no such moral qualms of letting them all be swallowed by the waves. (Also I missed an oppertunity of Terto hypocrasy in only saving the Gnome Pirates, that would have been hystarical.)

Veritas
Who needs boardingparties when there is Veritas? Enough said.

I knew that there was four(?) others that I do not remember by name, but I wanted to give a special kudos to the one that was clearly underleveled for this sort of DM-event and kept on dying, the tenacity to stay around was really appreciated and deserves a kudos.

With Love
Terto Tarquin

edit:
How could I forget DM Titania who again and yet again go that extra mile as a DM, building these maps just for our benefit, allowing the game to become more interactive and alive. I could make Kudosposts for Titania about every week, but I would never run out of more materials, and also never cease to be amazed over how the game can be tweeked just right to do something I had figured, would never happen.

I've been meaning to do one, but I just haven't got around to it yet.

Astra was the one that was under-leveled, and luckily they only died twice. Tadgh and Oliva were also there for part of it.

Nehala is the tiefling. She means well. Even when tempers may boil over. It's Lissa's favorite saying to explain people's actions sometimes (yes, even Terto's).

Big shout-out to DM Titania a really awesome event that mixed a bit of everything into it: combat, mystery, puzzle solving, stories finally coming together, and visiting a place that I had long wished to explore! How cool was that!

Thanks a bunch for everything (players and DMs)
Katernin Bersk, Chancellor of Divination; Kerri Amblecrown, Paladin of Milil; Xull'kacha Auvry'rae, Redcap Fey-pacted; Sadia yr Thuravya el Bhirax, Priestess of Umberlee; Lissa Whitehorn, Archmage of Artifice

Olivia, Astra, Nehala and Tadgh!

Poor Astra always ends where she shouldn't and take a fireball to the face.

Don't click weird links, kiddos.
